Jake Tanner started Sun Coast RV Service in 2015 with a single work van, a toolbox full of HVAC parts, and 8 years of factory training under his belt. Growing up around Sarasota Bay, he understood what salt air, summer storms, and relentless humidity do to recreational vehicles — and he saw a gap in the market for a mobile tech who actually specialized in the hard stuff.
Over a decade later, Sun Coast has grown into a four-person crew covering every corner of Sarasota and Manatee counties. Our focus hasn't changed: AC and electrical remain our bread and butter, but we've expanded into complete roof work, slide-out systems, plumbing, and pre-purchase inspections. Every tech on the team carries manufacturer certifications and the diagnostic tools to match.
What sets us apart is simple — we show up prepared. Our vans carry the most common parts for Dometic, Coleman, Advent, and other major brands. That means most repairs are completed in a single visit, right at your campsite, storage lot, or driveway. No towing, no dealer wait times, no surprises on the invoice.
